About the Project
ACCIONA delivers complex infrastructure across Australia, including major transport, water and civil works. Our teams focus on sustainable design, technical excellence and long-term asset performance. We work closely with clients, communities and regulators to achieve safe and resilient outcomes. This role supports environmental planning across varied infrastructure projects as they move from design into delivery.
About the Opportunity
As the Planning and Approvals Coordinator, you coordinate the planning and environmental approval requirements for project delivery. You report to the Environment Manager and work closely with construction, design and sustainability teams. You drive statutory compliance, support approval strategies, manage documentation and maintain key relationships to ensure approval conditions and project obligations are met.
What are the key accountabilities for the position?
Maintain compliance with statutory and project approval requirements
Coordinate inputs from construction and design teams
Manage planning registers, trackers and approval documentation
Advise on planning strategies, referrals and heritage permits
Complete internal audits and support external audit activity
Prepare reports and maintain planning and approvals data
Support procurement tasks including purchase orders and invoice reviews
Required Skills and Competencies
Tertiary qualification in environmental planning or equivalent
2+ years planning approvals experience
Knowledge of planning and environmental legislation
Strong coordination and documentation skills
Ability to manage stakeholders across teams
