Duties
Assist with landscape installation projects including planting, tree care, and hardscape construction such as patios and walkways
Perform lawn care tasks like mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to keep outdoor spaces vibrant and healthy
Maintain landscape features through pruning, tree trimming, irrigation system installation and repair, and snow plowing during winter months
Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks such as digging, trenching with excavators, and installing garden beds or retaining walls
Conduct routine landscape maintenance including watering, fertilizing, weed control, and pest management
Support general site cleanup and debris removal to ensure a tidy work environment
Collaborate with team members on larger projects involving landscaping design, horticulture practices, and hardscape installation
Requirements
Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping and construction
Experience or interest in lawn care, gardening, landscape maintenance or horticulture is preferred
Ability to operate equipment such as excavators or snow plows is a plus but not mandatory
Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and perform outdoor work in various weather conditions
Knowledge of landscaping techniques including tree care, irrigation systems, hardscaping elements, and general garden maintenance
Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in landscaping and construction
Valid driver’s license preferred; willingness to learn about equipment operation and safety protocols
