Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong commitment to maintaining beautiful landscapes. This role involves various tasks related to landscape maintenance, including irrigation, gardening, and the use of both hand and power tools. The Landscape Laborer will contribute to creating and sustaining aesthetically pleasing outdoor spaces for our clients.
Duties
Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
Irrigate plants and lawns effectively to ensure healthy growth.
Dig, build, and maintain garden beds, pathways, and other landscape features.
Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently.
Assist in planting flowers, shrubs, and trees according to design specifications.
Maintain equipment by cleaning and performing minor repairs as needed.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to quality standards.
Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
Previous experience in landscape maintenance or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
Mechanical knowledge is a plus for operating and maintaining equipment.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Strong physical stamina for lifting, digging, and prolonged standing or walking.
Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping tasks.
A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating beautiful outdoor spaces.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
Drivers Licence in good standing, able to tow a trailer.
