Job Description : Last Mile Delivery Manager
1. Supply Chain Strategy & Planning:
Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with the company’s overall business objectives.
Design and optimize supply chain processes for first mile (procurement of milk and raw materials) and last mile (distribution to retailers/customers).
Monitor supply chain performance and implement improvements to reduce costs, improve service, and minimize risks.
2. First Mile Management:
Work closely with suppliers, and transportation partners to improve milk collection processes and maintain strong relationships.
3. Last Mile Management:
Manage the distribution of finished products from processing plants to distribution centres, retailers, and customers.
Optimize routing, delivery schedules, and inventory management to ensure on-time delivery and high service levels.
Implement technology solutions to enhance visibility and tracking of last mile deliveries.
4. Operational Excellence:
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve overall supply chain efficiency.
Develop KPIs and performance metrics to monitor supply chain performance, identifying areas for improvement.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards across all supply chain operations.
5. Team Leadership & Development:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supply chain professionals within the cluster.
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
Manage staffing levels, training, and performance management to build a high-performing team
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
