Laundry Aide
(Kendall, Coral Gables & Homestead)
The #1 Priority of this position is...
To maintain and distribute a clean supply of dining room linen, bed linens, towels and wash cloths for our residents, as well as maintain residents' personal laundry which have to be maintained in a clean, non-wrinkled and spot-free state.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Wash all laundry and separate items as outlined in policies & procedures.
• Keep laundry room and shelves clean and organized.
• Fold and put away towels, sheets, blankets, etc.
• Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
Qualifications
• Experience in healthcare setting preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, and follow oral instructions in English. Spanish preferred.
• Must be able to operate industrial size washer and dryer & press machine.
The Ideal Candidate
• Responsible, always on time, resourceful, very accurate and detail-oriented.
• Flexible as to work schedule. Must be available to work on weekends, holidays & in emergencies.
• Must be able to work under pressure and multi-task.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently AND as a team member.
