Job Description
Operate and maintain laundry equipment to process linen safely and efficiently.
Sort, fold, and store clean linen, ensuring consistent stock levels for housekeeping operations.
Maintain a clean, organised laundry area and report any maintenance or safety issues promptly.
This role offers future growth opportunities, with the potential to progress into a Laundry Supervisor position for team members who demonstrate initiative, reliability, and leadership potential.
Qualifications
Essential :
Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role, including manual handling, standing for extended periods, and operating laundry equipment.
Ability to follow instructions and maintain a consistent work pace.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
Previous experience in a laundry, housekeeping, or similar operational role.
Flexibility to support housekeeping operations and maintain workplace safety standards.
Familiarity with laundry equipment (washers, dryers, folding stations).
Reliable and punctual, with good attention to detail, and able to work as part of a team.
Legal right to work in Australia.
Desirable :
Understanding of safe chemical handling practices.
A willingness to grow into a supervisory role over time.
