Job Description
We are seeking Legal Associates who are qualified lawyers with a valid license to practice law in India. The role involves end-to-end legal support including research, drafting, court appearances, and client coordination across litigation and transactional matters.
Eligibility Criteria
LL.B. degree (3-year or 5-year course) from a recognized university
Enrollment with a State Bar Council
All India Bar Examination (AIBE) cleared
Valid Certificate of Practice
Proficiency in English (written and oral)
Key Responsibilities Legal Drafting & Research Draft pleadings, applications, written statements, replies, rejoinders, affidavits, petitions, appeals, and legal notices Conduct in-depth legal research on statutes, case laws, rules, and regulations Prepare legal opinions, briefs, and case summaries Court Work & Appearances Appear before District Courts, High Courts, Tribunals, and other judicial / quasi-judicial forums Assist senior advocates in court matters including briefing, filing, and arguments Coordinate filings, listings, and procedural compliance Client Coordination Interact with clients for case updates, document collection, and instructions Maintain regular communication and manage client expectations Assist in strategy discussions and case management Contracts & Transactional Work Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, agreements, MOUs, NDAs, and commercial documents Identify legal risks and ensure compliance with applicable laws Support due diligence and documentation exercises Required Skills & Competencies Strong legal drafting and analytical skills Sound knowledge of substantive and procedural laws Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong organizational and time-management skills Professional ethics, confidentiality, and attention to detail Proficiency in legal research tools (SCC Online, Manupatra, etc.) Preferred Qualifications (Optional) Prior experience in litigation / arbitration / corporate law Experience in contract drafting and negotiations Familiarity with e-courts, e-filing systems, and court procedures Remuneration Competitive and commensurate with experience Performance-based growth opportunities
