• Work Arrangement: This role offers a hybrid work model with a requirement of being in the office 2-3 days per week.
• Salary Range: $124,000 - $233,000.
Your New Role:
• Review and approve risks in line with Underwriting Guidelines and agreed SLAs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, intermediaries, and stakeholders.
• Act as a technical expert in identifying issues and opportunities within the specified product class.
• Underwrite risks and authorize referrals to ensure profitable growth, adhering to delegated authority and underwriting standards.
• Contribute to developing and implementing the Business Unit's Business Plan.
• Deliver timely decisions and problem-solving solutions for internal and external customers and business partners.
• Enhance team knowledge and expertise through identifying appropriate professional development activities.
• Establish and develop relationships with stakeholders to maximize influence and achieve business objectives.
• Participate in portfolio reviews to evaluate progress toward business objectives.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Preferred Experience:
• Moderate experience in Commercial Property underwriting.
Compensation Package: Above-mentioned salary range applies nationwide. Salary offers will consider the role's complexity, location, and your professional background, including education and experience. Full-time employees may also be eligible for QBE's annual discretionary bonus plan based on individual and business performance.
