Job Description
SUMMARY
Lead Compensation and Benefits is to oversee and administer the employees' rewards and smart benefits across the Location for India. Also works with the US teams closely to drive the initiatives in the C&B Area.
POLICY AND PROCESS FORMULATION
Define a fair, equitable and competitive total compensation package that fits and is aligned to our company’s strategy and business goals.
Define, Develop, implement Compensation policies across the assigned geographies in line with work culture and organizational objectives and make sure that the Policies are similar across locations updating the same from time to time.
Develop Compensation policies, processes for various levels of employees (Bands).
Ensure that compensation practices are in compliance with current legislations (Law of the land).
ADMINISTRATION
Prepare job descriptions, job analysis, job evaluations, job classifications and Banding.
Identify and implement benefits to increase the quality of life for employees, by working with C&B consultancy firms and researching benefits issues.
Conduct ongoing research into emerging trends, issues and best practices on Benefits.
Administer, direct, and review employee benefit programs.
Assess employee’s needs by conducting organizational surveys, external surveys, using vendor reports to find out what motivates and engages employees.
TRAINING
Training, assisting Business Leaders in understating and implementing C&B policies.
Deploy effective communication strategies and success metrics for C&B function.
Conducting Help Desks for employees on Compensation and benefits related queries.
COMMUNICATION
Deploy effective communication strategies and success metrics for C&B function.
Direct preparation and distribution of written and verbal information to inform employees of benefits, compensation, and HR policies.
Mediate between benefits providers and employees, such as by assisting in handling employees' benefits-related questions or taking suggestions.
PAYROLL ADMINISTRATION
Handling Payroll process and related to remittances in collaboration with finance team.
Handling end to End Statutory compliance (Return, Registers and renewals) under PF, ESI, Gratuity, Bonus, Shops and Establishments, Minimum wages, Contract Labor etc.
HRIS
Prepare MIS Reports and submit to leadership to support decisions.
Analyze statistical data and reports to identify and determine causes of personnel problems and develop recommendations for improvement of organization's personnel policies and practices
BUDGETING AND AUDITING
Preparation of C&B and HR operations budgets.
Conduct/Attending periodic audits to see organization is compliant to statutes.
