We are seeking a skilled Lead Cost Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining accurate product costs, performing variance analysis, and preparing cost reports.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain accurate product costs, including materials, labor, and overhead.
• Perform variance analysis to identify cost deviations and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare cost reports, including cost of sales, inventory valuation, and production performance.
• Maintain segment-wise profitability reports for each plant and brand.
• Support budgeting, audits, and special projects.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Monitor Bill of Materials (BOM) and conduct profitability analysis in SAP.
Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. ICWA certification, CA, or CA drop-out is also required.
You will also need:
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and cost accounting principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
