Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi for a Mission Design Lead. The Mission Design Lead will oversee the conceptualization and planning of space missions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define mission objectives, trajectory analysis, and design parameters. Responsibilities include leading the development of mission architecture, conducting feasibility studies, ensuring compliance with engineering and regulatory standards, and preparing detailed technical documentation. The role requires effective communication with stakeholders, mentoring team members, and staying updated on advancements in the space exploration domain.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in mission design, trajectory analysis, and systems engineering
Proficiency in tools and software for simulation, modeling, and data analysis
Experience in project management, team leadership, and cross-functional collaboration
Deep understanding of aerospace principles and regulatory frameworks
Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity for analytical thinking
Exceptional communication skills for presenting complex technical ideas
Master's or Ph.D. degree in Aerospace Engineering, Astrophysics, or related fields
Familiarity with mission operations, satellite design, and propulsion systems is advantageous
