Job description
Experience : 8-14 years Location : Noida, Bangalore, Hyderabad Roles and Responsibilities -Provide technology leadership globally for Generator & Electrical Systems -Analyze conditions reported from the field and determine actions to resolve issues timely and efficiently - Lead root cause investigations for issues with significant fleet impact from initial investigation through the corrective and preventive action phase -Support and coordinate with interfacing organizations such as manufacturing, sourcing, services operations, quality, commercial, design engineering, etc. to fulfill customer needs -Communicate technical justification & progress across all levels of internal & external organizations, including plant operators and executive leaders -Provide technical coverage from new unit installation & commissioning to operations & maintenance for critical issues -Author knowledge articles for internal and external customers to relay risks, troubleshooting guidelines, and recommendations for improved reliability & availability -Actively engage in global Product Service meetings to grow personal expertise and contribute to further develop the overall team’s expertise Required Qualifications -Bachelor of Science in Electrical/Mechanical or relevant in Engineering from an accredited college/university or equivalent -Those with Diploma or technical qualification with relevant experience in Generator and Electrical Systems troubleshooting/servicing will be considered -Extensive experience in engineering of generator surrounding electrical systems (i.e., excitation & LCI, protection, terminal enclosure, MV cell, electrical auxiliaries, transformer, etc.) -Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
