We are seeking a Lead IT Engineer to design and guide future infrastructure initiatives, while providing strategic advice to executive leadership. This role will drive technology improvements, influence budgetary decisions, and enhance system security.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide strategic guidance on infrastructure decisions to leadership.
• Research and implement technology solutions to improve the organization.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of Rubrik, Commvault, and BackupExec servers.
• Manage and maintain Windows/Linux servers, SAN systems, VMware environments, and backup hardware.
• Perform incident management, change management, and vulnerability remediation.
• Mentor and support mid-level administrators.
• Participate in on-call and patch rotations.
Required Experience/Skills:
• 7+ years in IT, with expertise in backup systems (Rubrik, Commvault, BackupExec).
• Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, VMware, SAN systems, and hyperconverged infrastructure.
• Experience with monitoring tools (OpManager, Dynatrace, etc.).
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a 24x7 on-call environment.
• College degree or equivalent experience
