Schedule: Wednesday to Sunday (flexible shifts including breakfast, lunch, and dinner)
Job Summary:
Ristorante Papa is seeking a skilled and reliable Head Line Cook to lead our kitchen line and deliver consistent, high-quality dishes across breakfast, lunch, and dinner service. This role suits someone passionate about Italian cuisine, with strong leadership skills and the ability to adapt across different service periods in a fast-paced kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee kitchen line operations across breakfast, lunch, and dinner services
Prepare and cook menu items to restaurant standards
Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all dishes
Lead, train, and support line cooks and kitchen staff
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment
Monitor stock levels and communicate ordering needs
Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
Assist with menu development, specials, and seasonal changes
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Line Cook or Head Line Cook
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques across multiple service styles (breakfast through dinner)
Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Leadership and team management skills
Excellent time management and attention to detail
Flexibility to work varying shifts Wednesday through Sunday
Food safety certification (preferred)
