Position: Lead Production Planner
Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and oversee production planning and scheduling to optimize workflow and minimize downtime.
Coordinate with procurement, inventory, and manufacturing teams to ensure material availability and production efficiency.
Utilize SAP B1 ERP to streamline material planning and production processes.
Monitor production performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in manufacturing operations.
Qualifications & Experience:
Experience: Minimum 5 years in production planning within a sheet metal manufacturing environment.
Technical Proficiency: Expertise in SAP B1 ERP and material planning systems.
Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes, including laser cutting, CNC bending, and assembly operations.
Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze production data, forecast demand, and optimize planning strategies.
Collaboration & Communication: Excellent organizational and cross-functional collaboration skills to work effectively with procurement, operations, and supply chain teams.
