About The Opportunity
This role further requires the best use of organization resources in defining, detailing and delivering planning goals and objectives, for major Aviation programs to meet and exceed the requirements for clients.
Specific duties include
• Plans and organizes, the work activities of an engineering function.
• Supports in developing new business opportunities as and when necessary or required.
• Supports in understanding of internal financial goals and objectives and aligns delivery to same.
• Ability to lead preparation and presentation of engineering projects.
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders such as government entities on major design and delivery programs.
• Project monitoring and review schedules to assure projects are on time and within budget projections.
• Oversees invoicing and collection of payments from clients for assigned projects
• Can Lead/participates in contract negotiations with subcontractors
• Involved in preparation of contracts, lease negotiations, and establishment of field rules and regulations; assisting in operational programs
• Ability to be flexible in travel/location/relocation as necessary to support. Strong background in Aviation related professional services areas for major planning, engineering and project management.
Here's what you'll need
• Engineering degree
• 15+ years’ experience in the aviation market, ideally with relationships with existing clients
• Experience in developing client relationships
• Experience in business development and tendering for major projects in the aviation environment
• Experience in developing and leading a team on consulting staff
• Proven network of contacts in the aviation industry.
• Experienced in major airports project delivery.
