This senior role demands a comprehensive understanding of property operations, tenant relations, financial management, and market trends. You will be responsible for ensuring the profitability and optimal condition of the properties under your charge, leading a team of property management professionals, and driving initiatives to enhance property value and tenant satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing residential and/or commercial properties, strong leadership capabilities, and excellent negotiation and conflict-resolution skills. Core Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day operations of a portfolio of properties, ensuring high standards of maintenance, security, and tenant satisfaction. Develop and implement strategic leasing plans to minimize vacancies and maximize rental income. Manage all aspects of tenant relations, including lease negotiations, rent collection, and dispute resolution. Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with lease agreements and identify maintenance needs. Prepare and manage property budgets, financial reports, and variance analyses. Supervise, train, and motivate a team of property management staff. Coordinate with maintenance and repair vendors, ensuring timely and cost-effective service delivery. Ensure all properties comply with local regulations, zoning laws, and safety standards. Identify opportunities for property enhancement and capital improvement projects. Represent the company in dealings with tenants, vendors, and other stakeholders. Stay informed about market conditions, competitive landscape, and emerging real estate trends. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in property management, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role. Demonstrated success in managing diverse property portfolios (residential, commercial, or mixed-use). Strong understanding of real estate law, landlord-tenant regulations, and fair housing practices. Excellent financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio) and MS Office Suite. Ability to effectively manage a team and foster a positive work environment. Strong negotiation and conflict resolution abilities. Real estate license or RMP/CCIM certification is a significant advantage.
