Job Description

Sourcing & Recruitment
• Responsible for new store hiring, GEL, management trainees (Campus recruits)
• Support in the hiring of associate - maintenance roles and delivery riders
• Collaborate with Operations on labour planning (as it depends on location, services offered, etc.)

Campus Hiring & Induction
• Conduct Campus presentations and selection process
• Pre Joining engagement Program city wise incl. measures like guest lectures on campuses, campus connects, etc.
• Organization On boarding, Orientation and Induction

Analysis & Action Planning
• Campus Joinees : Monitor Performance, attendance & development milestones etc. during the first + months of joining ( till the point they become a restaurant assistant Manager) and report plus drive results/ action planning through Operations Consultants
• Implement and review Opinion survey Action Plans for the market
• Responsible for qualitative analysis/ monthly report (management stability, attrition, restaurant staffing, etc.)
• Partner with Ops Consultant on Quarterly Business Review from people priorities perspective (this includes diagnosis/action planning/ delivering on the set people plans)
• Review staffing situation (Hiring Diagnostic) given trade area changes, competition build up in nearby, store expansion

Store Learning & Development
• Coordinates classes and training sessions and measures the impact of training classes on the restaurant results through student evaluations
• Conducts training that motivates, builds competencies and improves the individual's performance and contribution to restaurant results
• Responsible to ensure on time roll out of new product/initiatives in the market
• Independently develops supportive relationships with individuals inside and outside the company
• Communicates and provides feedback to restaurant management, regarding the success and opportunities for people development
• Sets standards to be adhered to by training managers in restaurants
• Responsible to maintain core curriculum standards in classes
• Develops metrics/process to track adherence to training processes across stores to ensure standardisation
• Owns and establishes training minimum and standards

Employee Relations & Compliances
• Have understanding of labour law related statutory requirement of the state, Liaise with local labour consultants on matters related to labour inspections , response to notices, license procurement & renewals, etc., facilitate ESIC utilization by employees under ESIC coverage and all related queries , handle PF queries
• Understand and be able to train restaurant managers on Disciplinary Actions, involuntary exits cases, etc.
• Grievance handling in cases of biased treatment by managers (termination, performance related, etc.)
• Conduct random Exit Interviews from crew and regular exit interviews for all management employees
• Work with RGM's/ PDM's to ensure People Minimums are at 100% at restaurants
• Proactively work on identifying employee issues at the restaurants by conducting RAP sessions, reviewing stagnancy, analysing People Reports
• Specific HR projects : Conceptualize, evaluate and implement new initiatives for the market

People Development
• Work along with the Manager People resources Performance Management system is implemented in the market
• Ensure Ops Consultants/ Restaurant Managers are trained on this system for performance dialogues and for managing the talent calibration sessions
• Ensure the Ops Consultants implement and document the performance management plans for their region
• Facilitate the succession planning for the market
• Headcount and payroll projection for Profit Plan

People Engagement
• Drive the engagement calendar on a quarterly calendar (e.g. recognition events, competitions, etc.)
• Ensure execution of quarterly communication forums incl. delivery of the people communication agenda.
• Plan and execution of COSMOS Action plan
