PURPOSE
We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with a strong background in Azure, Azure DevOps, Java, Kubernetes, Monitoring, Dynatrace, Elastic Search, Mongo db . The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems while driving automation and best practices across our infrastructure and applications.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available systems on Azure and contribute to on prem setup strategies.
• Work with Portfolio Architects and DevOps Leads to investigate critical performance issues and perform L3 kind of role for the platform side.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with software engineering teams to improve system reliability, performance, and scalability.
• Implement and manage Kubernetes clusters, ensuring optimal deployment strategies and resource utilization.
• Write clean, maintainable code in Java for automation and system integration tasks.
• Develop and execute disaster recovery plans and high availability strategies.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive solutions.
• Automate operational processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual interventions.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems, processes, and procedures.
EXPERIENCE
• At least 8+ years of experience in deployment, support, and management of application and infrastructure systems, including Azure cloud services, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience implementing scalable, secure, and highly available systems, with involvement in multiple full lifecycle implementations.
• Formal project management training is desirable.
• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting, disaster recovery planning, and performance optimization of complex systems.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
• Strong expertise in Azure cloud services and Azure DevOps.
• Proficiency in Java programming for backend development and automation; knowledge of Python, Go, or Bash scripting is a plus.
• Experience with Kubernetes cluster management and containerization technologies.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, ELK Stack, and Elastic Search.
• Solid understanding of networking, security, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and high availability architectures.
• Knowledge of database management (SQL/NoSQL, MongoDB) and caching solutions.
• Ability to develop and execute disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
