Cognizant’s Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Lead SpringBoot Developer with experience developing and building high-performing, scalable, enterprise applications. You will be part of a digital software team that works on high-demand applications. Our engineers have a passion for high-quality, reliable and maintainable code. You will work side by side with product managers, designers, and clients, making decisions together in order to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users. Location: Toronto, ON

Responsibilities

Spring Boot Developer with extensive experience in Spring Boot and a strong understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts, including SAML/SSO, OIDC, and OAuth.

Design, develop, and maintain robust Spring Boot applications.

Implement and manage IAM solutions, ensuring secure and efficient authentication and authorization processes.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Continuously learn and apply new technologies to improve development processes and outcomes.

Optionally, contribute to front-end development using Angular.

Support weekly prod deployment on every Thursday along with offshore team.

Participate Agile ceremonies and lead a team of 7-8 developers (both FTE & Cognizant)


Qualifications

8 – 10 years of experience in Spring Boot development.

Proficiency in IAM concepts: SAML/SSO, OIDC, OAuth.

Having strong design experience is an added advantage

Experience with Angular and Shell scripting is a plus.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Travel: 0-5%
