Job Description
FYC values early childhood education and the enthusiasm our staff brings to young learners.
Job Responsibilities:
Writing and implementing weekly lesson plans
Engaging students in a variety of developmentally appropriate, play-based activities
Providing structured outdoor exploration and gross motor play daily
Writing monthly newsletters
Sending daily parent emails
Writing daily reports for students
Preparing bi-annual student evaluations
Providing annual parent-teacher conferences
Encouraging and facilitating a home-school connection
Helping students problem solve and encourage social-emotional growth
Provide daily feedback to parents at pick up and drop off
Job Qualifications:
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field like Child Development.
1 year of direct experience in a group care setting for children between the age of 6 weeks and 5 years old
Commit to one year contract
Commit to CPR/First aid certification provided by FYC
