Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Leasing Consultant cum Assistant manager to join our property management team. In this role, you will be responsible for attracting and screening potential tenants, conducting property tours, negotiating lease terms, collections of rent , eviction process and ensuring a smooth leasing experience from start to finish. You will help maintain high occupancy rates, support marketing efforts, and provide exceptional service to both prospective and current residents. This position works closely with the Property Manager and team to achieve leasing and collection goals and uphold community standards.
Responsibilities as a Leasing and Assistant Manager
As leasing agent market, attract, engage, and screen prospective tenants
Conduct property tours and provide accurate information about available units
Negotiate lease terms and prepare all leasing paperwork
Manage the full leasing process, from application to move-in
Respond to in-person, phone, and email inquiries; schedule appointments
Stay informed on local rental market trends and competitor activity
Participate in marketing events, outreach efforts, and promotional activities
As Assistant Manager assist with collection, 3-day notices, eviction filing and follow up
Work towards delinquency to maintain at it lowest
Address resident needs and concerns promptly and professionally
Explain lease terms, community policies, and renewal options
Plan and support resident events as needed
Uphold Fair Housing regulations, ethical standards, and company policies
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
Strong negotiating and sales abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and other Office products
Comfort with Internet, email, and social media marketing
Experience with property management software such as OneSite, RealPage, Bluemoon, etc
Understanding of general business practices and principles
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
Ability to remain composed under stress
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Works well independently and collaboratively
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
