Academic Level B | $113,211 to $133,974 pa plus 17% superannuation
Location: Bedford Park / Kaurna Country
About the Position:
The College of B usiness, Creative Arts, Law and Social Science is seeking a Lecturer in Politics to contribute to excellence in teaching and learning across the suite of undergraduate and/or postgraduate topics with a focus on comparative politics and/or political economy and international political economy.
Ideally, your expertise will focus on one or more of the following areas:
International political economy
Asian/East Asian region
Climate and environment
Geoeconomics
This position is open to international candidates, and relocation and visa support is available.
About You
You are a committed and student-centred educator with significant tertiary teaching experience in comparative politics and/or political economy. You are an emerging or established scholar with experience in curriculum delivery and development, and a commitment to inclusive, cross-cultural education.
Additional responsibilities for this position include:
Completion of a PhD
Teaching experience in comparative politics and/or political economy
Demonstrated experience or ability to deliver offshore programs (i.e. in China) (Desirable). Some interstate and overseas travel may be required
