Job Description
Responsibilities will include:
Contributing to teaching and first-marking, ensuring that the modules reflect the dimensions of the Connected Curriculum.
Keeping up to date with learning and teaching developments and being alert to best practice (through UCL Arena, subject associations, conferences, professional events and journals).
Working with other lecturers on the modules to ensure that student evaluation is managed effectively and used to enhance provision for current and/or future cohorts.
About you
With a doctorate in Applied Linguistics/TESOL or related field on a topic related to the teaching and learning of second languages, you will have previous experience of teaching a second language in a classroom setting and a proven track-record through research publications in the field of Applied Linguistics and TESOL, with expertise in cognitively-oriented instructed SLA research.
