About the role
An exciting career opportunity exists in our busy Melbourne office for an experienced full time Legal Secretary in our Professional Indemnity law practice group. Working closely with the team, you will be providing secretarial support to a friendly team.
Your key responsibilities will include transcribing digital dictation of advices, general correspondence and court documents, preparation of briefs to counsel, management of lawyers' diaries, file administration, billing, and other general administrative responsibilities as required.
You will regularly liaise with clients and external providers, so your polished telephone manner, high level of attention to detail and communication skills will be essential.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have a minimum of 5 year’ administrative or secretarial experience gained in a law firm or other professional services environment. Your dedication to providing our clients with exceptional customer service, and your enthusiasm and willingness to work as part of a collaborative team will be valued.

Competent IT skills including Adobe Pro and Excel
Strong problem-solving skills and demonstrated initiative
