What’s the role?

This role is a permanent, full-time opportunity within Westpac’s Institutional Bank, based in Sydney, and offers the chance to develop strong foundational experience in institutional banking. It focuses on delivering high ‑ quality lending services to clients across multiple industry groups, ensuring exceptional service for both new and existing lending products.

As a Lending Services Analyst, you will support clients with their lending and Financial Market’s needs, including managing credit processes and funds products. You’ll oversee client portfolios to ensure enquiries are resolved efficiently, and you’ll work closely with internal partners to maintain strong relationships and deliver smooth, consistent service.

You’ll also develop a solid understanding of your clients’ industries, collaborate with the team to enhance the client experience, and contribute to ongoing process and product improvements. A key part of the role is responding to customer needs promptly while supporting continuous improvement and maintaining high service standards.

What do I need?

Proven ability to manage clients and understand their servicing needs across Lending products and Financial Markets solutions.
Strong commercial and business acumen with solid knowledge of lending products, credit processes, and implementation workflows.
Familiarity with the systems, procedures, and processes that support lending and Financial Markets activities.
Proactive management of business partners to ensure timely and accurate service deliver
Commitment to complying with legislative, regulatory, and corporate policy requirements to minimise risk.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and internal stakeholders.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a good foundational understanding of lending principles.
