Requirements
Swim England or STA Level 2 swimming/coaching qualification
National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers & Coaches (NRASTC) qualification or lifesaving qualification is beneficial (not essential)
Clean Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check - for successful applicants who not do not have a DBS, we can help to arrange this
Confident with all aspects of teaching: nervous, additional needs, complete beginners and technique work
Responsibilities
Deliver/assist group lessons of upto 4 children in preschool and upto 5 children in all other classes and private 121 / 122 lessons
Ensure health and safety guidelines are adhered to
Committed, passionate, loyal and must have the ability to create a good rapport with parents / carers and children
Must be able to identify children’s levels of ability and adapt activities and lessons as required
Run sessions effectively and efficiently, setting up and maintaining equipment and adhering to D&S Swim School safeguarding policy
Provide feedback on swimmers when required
