Full-Time Licensed Optician or Optometric Assistant – Perth, Ontario
Our friendly, patient-focused eye care clinic is looking for a Full-Time Licensed Optician or Optometric Assistant to join our team. We are seeking someone outgoing, and passionate about helping patients look and see their best. A strong interest in fashion, aesthetics, and eyewear styling is essential.
Responsibilities
Assist patients in selecting frames that suit their style and prescription needs
Take accurate eyewear measurements
Educate and recommend patients on lens options and coatings
Adjust and repair eyewear
Maintain frame inventory and process orders
Maintain accurate patient records
Support lab work (an asset)
Contact lens fittings, instruction and care (Optician)
Qualifications
OPTICIAN:
Registered with the Ontario College of Opticians
Valid Dispensing Optician License (required)
Strong written and verbal English communication skills (French would be an asset)
Excellent customer service and sales ability
Detail-oriented, dependable, and team-focused
Interest in eyewear trends and fashion
Strong organizational, and computer skills
OPTOMETRIC ASSISTANT:
Proven experience in frame selection, fitting and adjustments, optical lab work
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Excellent customer service and sales ability
Detail-oriented, dependable, and team-focused
Interest in eyewear trends and fashion
Strong organizational, and computer skills

Monday - Friday work week, weekends off
Wage: $24 – $39 per hour
