Duties
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and repairs
Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively for various tasks
Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment as needed for installation or repairs
Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues with plumbing systems and recommend solutions
Collaborate with construction teams to integrate plumbing with carpentry and HVAC systems
Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries on the job site
Assist in assembly of plumbing components and related systems according to project specifications
Maintain detailed records of work performed and materials used for each project
Skills
Mechanical knowledge with experience in plumbing systems is essential
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics reading
Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and blueprint interpretation
Knowledge of carpentry, HVAC systems, and construction practices is a plus
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematics for accurate installation planning
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues quickly
Good communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients
Valid commercial driving license is advantageous for transporting materials or equipment when required
