Supports Control processes and production of high quality financial data
and reporting
Finance and Accounting Process works on accounting processes from regions including America, Europe, Africa and Asia. The team has an active participation in the corporate drive for process standardization and enhancements, which has resulted in higher efficiencies, uniformity of accounting practices and quality & consistent management reporting.

• Mining financial and other systems to gather and collate data requested.
• Ensuring consistency, completeness and accuracy of information for external reporting.
• Ensuring and being cognizant of international reporting requirements and nuances
• Plug and play approach to deal with country specific statutory requirements
• Performing substantive procedures and analytical review of the balance sheet and the income statement.
• Ensuring timely, meaningful and accurate provision of data in response to audits for instance tax authority audit, typically within short time periods.
• Working closely with Compliance teams, Tax Governance & Risk, Tax Global Process Owner. Also, liasioning with both internal and external stakeholders on need basis
• Ensuring documentation and maintenance of evidence to support the group financial reporting
• Proficient in drafting and presentation of the financial statements under reporting requirements to Board and Senior Management
• Coordination with regional SPOC for global financial reporting
• Performing Adhoc reconciliation and review of financials
• Review and coordinate with Deloitte team for smooth support for FS preparation
• Ensure Financial Data integrity of Agency and Principal books for respective Business Area/Entity
• Ensure Policy Adherence along with Control and compliance
• Ensure Quality and conduct performance analysis and suggest improvements areas for implementation
• Conduct GL scrutiny at regular interval and ensure Data Authenticity
• Understanding of GAAP for the relevant country/cluster and ensure compliance
• Support All types of Audit (Statutory, Tax, and Govt. Internal etc.)
• Support Principal/Agency related process data analysis and ensure related controls
• Provide required functional and technical training to team
• Chartered Accountant or similar.
• IFRS diploma preferred.
• Above 7 years’ post qualification experience in finance, accounting and/or tax compliance from either large global organisations or with Big 4 advisors, preferably in a shared services or centre of excellence environment.
• Knowledge about financial and accounting systems, including ERP (ideally SAP) is preferable, including direct experience with obtaining, gathering and collating data.
• Willingness to learn new applications and explore smart ways of working.
• Persistent, with good verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail orientated, proven commitment to high quality delivery.
• Flexible and adaptable, able to work to tight deadlines and to prioritise effectively.
