Systems Administrator - AWS
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Systems Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Linux trading systems in live trading environments, covering hardware, network, and OS.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and maintain big data solutions, storage and backup infrastructure
• Work with vendors and technicians to resolve server issues and provide quick resolution for our global data centers
• Monitor and optimize the performance and cost-efficiency of our cloud ecosystem
Requirements
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Linux
• Expertise in setting up and automating AWS cloud infrastructure
• Hands-on experience with AWS services like EC2, EBS, and S3
• Experience with DevOps principles and practices
• Proficiency in continuous integration concepts, and automation tools
• Proficiency in understanding client-server architectures and network design
• Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash
• Experience in systems administration
• Knowledge of cloud platforms AWS(preferred)/GCP and virtualization technologies
• Experience working on Jenkins, GIT, Bitbucket, Gitlab, Deployment pipelines
• Experience with Databases like Postgresql (preferred), MySQL
• Experience in containerization tools like Docker
