Job Title: Excavator Driver Operative
We are seeking to recruit a skilled and experienced excavator driver operative to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis as part of LSSL's Cemeteries and Crematorium service.
This role involves undertaking and successfully completing a NPORS (or equivalent) qualification to obtain your 360 degree excavator licence.
The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering a broad range of activities associated with the Cemeteries and Crematorium service area, including driving and operating a range of vehicles, plant, machinery equipment, and hand tools in accordance with relevant legislation, LSSL policies, and protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive and operate various vehicles, plant, machinery equipment, and hand tools.
Deliver day-to-day tasks associated with the Cemeteries and Crematorium Service Area.
Maintain high standards of health and safety.
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, split into two patterns:
· 17 weeks: 8:00am to 4:00pm
· 35 weeks: 8:15am to 3:30pm
Salary: £28,624 - £2+,0+3 per annum
