Job description (Livestock Representative)
Core role
A Livestock Representative is basically the link between farmers and the company. You’re responsible for sourcing animals (sheep, beef, dairy stock) and managing supplier relationships.
Key responsibilities
Build relationships with farmers (long-term partnerships are a big part of the job)
Buy and secure livestock supply for processing
Negotiate prices and contracts with farmers
Coordinate transport and delivery of animals to processing plants
Plan livestock supply based on market demand and forecasts
Monitor market trends and advise farmers
Ensure animal welfare, compliance, and sustainability standards are met
Use digital tools to track procurement and performance.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $5,500.00 – $8,300.00 per month
