About The Position
Medicus is collaborating with a hospital 30 minutes from Denver, Colorado, that has an opening for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide psychiatric consultation services.
Key Details
• Setting: Inpatient, Emergency Room Trauma Level I
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm
• On-Call Type: Beeper
• Duties: Consultation on psychiatric patients including medication orders or recommendations.
• Patient Population: Adult, Adolescent, Geriatric
• Census: Average of 2-4 new consults per day with follow-up for 6, totaling 10 per day
• EMR: Epic
• Required Certification: AANP Certified or equivalent psychiatric certification
• Experience: Must have acute care and consultation experience
• Travel: Paid travel & expenses
