As a Logistics Coordinator at I Built It, you will play a crucial role in managing our export shipments and providing essential support to ensure the smooth operation of our office. Your responsibilities will include handling export logistics, coordinating with carriers and suppliers, and assisting with various office tasks. Your past experience in similar logistics positions will be valuable in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and manage export shipments, ensuring timely and efficient delivery to clients.
• Communicate with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to facilitate the export process.
• Maintain accurate shipment records, including tracking information and documentation.
• Assist in negotiating contracts and rates with transportation providers.
• Handle miscellaneous office tasks, such as inventory management, procurement, and administrative support.
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize logistics processes and resolve any shipment-related issues.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in logistics, preferably in export coordination.
• Knowledge of export regulations, documentation, and international shipping practices.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency in using logistics and supply chain management software.
• Detail-oriented and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
