Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and manage export shipments, ensuring timely and efficient delivery to clients.
• Communicate with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to facilitate the export process.
• Maintain accurate shipment records, including tracking information and documentation.
• Assist in negotiating contracts and rates with transportation providers.
• Handle miscellaneous office tasks, such as inventory management, procurement, and administrative support.
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize logistics processes and resolve any shipment-related issues.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in logistics, preferably in export coordination.
• Knowledge of export regulations, documentation, and international shipping practices.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency in using logistics and supply chain management software.
• Detail-oriented and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
