We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Economics Teacher to join our team. Our school Aurinko Academy is easily accesible from [Harlur, Kudlu, HSR Layout, E City, Kasavanahalli]
Responsibilities:
• Design and deliver high-quality Economics lessons that align with the school’s curriculum and standards.
• Help students develop critical thinking skills and a deep understanding of economic concepts such as supply and demand, market structures, and macroeconomics.
• Develop and implement assessments to measure student progress and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and academic growth.
• Use a variety of teaching strategies and techniques to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and improve the Economics program.
• Participate in school meetings, events, and professional development opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and assessments.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Economics or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Prior experience teaching Economics at the high school level.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and students.
• Familiarity with using technology in the classroom.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.
