Job description, work day and responsibilities
As a Low Voltage Helper at CSI, you will work alongside experienced technicians to assist in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low voltage systems.
Pay range: $18-$20/HR
Your Responsibilities Will Include
• **Assisting with Installations:** Help install and set up low voltage systems such as security cameras, access control systems, networking equipment, and audio/visual components.
• **Cable Management:** Assist in running and organizing low voltage cables, ensuring they are neatly routed and labeled for easy identification.
• **Testing and Troubleshooting:** Assist in testing installed systems to ensure functionality and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• **Documentation:** Maintain accurate records of installations, configurations, and maintenance activities.
• **Compliance:** Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards while performing tasks to ensure a safe working environment.
• **Support:** Provide support to senior technicians during project execution, including equipment setup, tool organization, and site cleanup.
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of low voltage systems preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow in the low voltage field.
• Physical ability to lift and move equipment and materials as needed.
