About the Position
St. Philip’s is seeking an experienced, passionate, and collaborative Lower School Co-Teacher to join our teaching team. Co-teachers play an important role in delivering engaging instruction, differentiating learning, and supporting the academic and social-emotional growth of students. The ideal candidate is positive, collaborative, and knowledgeable about child development and best teaching practices.

Key Responsibilities
• Support the mission of St. Philip’s Episcopal School by delivering high-quality, student-centered instruction
• Collaborate with teaching teams to plan, deliver, and assess instruction in core subjects
• Provide differentiated instruction to support diverse learners
• Create a positive classroom culture using effective behavior management strategies
• Support social-emotional learning and student development
• Communicate regularly and professionally with parents and families
• Integrate educational technology to enhance learning experiences
• Maintain accurate academic and communication records
• Supervise students during school activities and assigned duties
• Participate in faculty meetings and collaborative team activities
Qualifications
• Deep respect and passion for working with children
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
• 3+ years of classroom teaching experience (lower school experience preferred)
• Strong instructional and classroom management skills
• Experience differentiating instruction
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to build strong relationships with students and families
• Experience using educational technology and digital learning platforms
• Understanding of child development and best practices in foundational literacy and numeracy instruction.

Compensation
Salary range: $50,000 – $70,000 based on experience and qualifications
Full-time position
U.S. work authorization required
