Responsibilities
SUMMARY: The Helper will assist the Machine Operator as needed throughout the shift
Cut all straps and remove all excess cardboard from sheets before entry into machine
Safely operate standard warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks
Maintain a clean work area, machine, tools and equipment
Turn in maintenance work orders to supervision for needed repairs
Be proactive in the maintenance of equipment
Maintain inventories of items needed by operator
Perform quality control on own work
Assist Machine Operators as necessary
Duties may be expanded upon and additional duties may be assigned
This position has no supervisory responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manufacturing experience in the corrugated industry preferred.
