Work Location : Chennai (Ambattur Estate Road)
Experience : 3+Years
Qualifications : Any Graduate/Post Graduate: BE/B. Tech/MCA etc.
Notice : Immediate to 30 days
The Role
We are looking for mainframe SME developers and Sysprogs who are multiskilled and have a well-rounded skill base. Any exposure to IBM zD&T and Mainframe DevOps Tooling will be a distinct advantage.
Required Skills:
• Must have minimum 4 years of experience as a mainframe applications developer or System Programmer
• Should have sound knowledge in the following basic mainframe skills: COBOL or PL/I, JCL, DB2, CICS, VSAM, SORT utilities, File-AID, SPUFI, ISPF and SCM tools like Endevor, Changeman or ISPW
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and release management.
• Should be well versed in writing test cases and creating test plans etc.
• Should be able to handle the stake holders independently.
• Strong analytical and design skills.
• Ability to collaborate and communicate well across the team/organization.
Good to have skills:
• Devops knowledge and experience using devops tools like Topaz, Jenkins, XL release etc.
• z/OS USS knowledge.
• REXX, CLIST, ISPF dialog development experience.
• Sysprog DB2 Skills
• Distributed experience
• Cloud
Need development experience (3 years development experience)
Hands on experience in Coding (Individual contributor)
