Job Description for 3-7 yrs - Mainframe Support role: As a Mainframe Tech Support, you will be responsible to maintain data integrity to support the testing of the application software across multiple MVS mainframe environments by utilizing z/OS operating system and its sub-systems. Coordinate the execution of batch processing maintenance to ensure environment stability within the established service levels. Strong Operations and technical skills, analytical and troubleshooting skills, and high-level Product Knowledge are required to perform this support role. Mainframe Developer Requirements & Skills - - 3-7 years of experience on MVS z/OS operating system.- Excellent academic background, preferably B.Tech / B.E Computer Science & Engineering or MCA.- Knowledge and experience in z/OS commands, JES2 commands, Start/Stop Initiators,JCL DB2, Abend resolution Ability, CICS, ISPF, SDSF, JOBTRAC, JCL, REXX, PC to MF communications and other mainframe technologies & tools.- Knowledge and experience in Mainframe Networking skills like MQ, FTP, Virtual IP, Pub/Sub Systems, VTAM.- Ability to handle Mainframe batch processing; Job Scheduler - ControlM- Ability to prepare test environments for testing by installing prerequisite releases and database structures.- Ability to perform a variety of application software testing activities and some programming ability (preferred) and/or automated testing tools a plus.
