Required Skills Experience/Roles and Responsibilities
• 4 + relevant years mainframe technical experience as a z/OS Systems Programmer:
• working in Services or projects, preferably Customer facing in a professional consultative capacity
• working as Source Code Management administrator
• experience in z/OS Operating System and Program Product installs, SYSPLEX, system configurations, upgrades, user mods/exits, in large complex environments. Strong experience with SMP/e, testing and deployment strategies, problem determination and resolution
• Strong experience in TSO, ISPF, JCL, REXX, CLIST Consultative skills with customers when driving deliverables and setting priorities
• A self-starter, willing to work without a net with a proven ability to meet assigned timelines with high quality, complete deliverables in unsupervised, often remote, situations
• Willingness to mentor, share ideas and knowledge with other colleagues promoting best practices
• Demonstrated success in building key relationships in the past with Sales, Technical Support, Application Teams and Product Engineering
