Job Description
We’re looking for a hands-on Maintenance Assistant to keep QT Queenstown running smoothly and looking its best. From routine repairs to preventative maintenance, you’ll ensure our guests enjoy a safe, stylish, and seamless experience. This is a practical, problem-solving role where no two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine repairs and maintenance across the hotel.
Respond promptly to guest and departmental requests for assistance.
Complete tasks from the maintenance checklist and preventative maintenance program.
Log all defects, repairs, and actions taken accurately.
Work collaboratively with the Maintenance Manager and team to ensure safety and efficiency.
Maintain a clean, safe working environment and comply with WH&S standards.
What We’re Looking For
You’re a proactive problem-solver with a knack for fixing things and keeping standards high. You’ll have:
Previous experience in general maintenance or a similar role.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Good communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
Valid New Zealand working rights.
