Maintenance Helper

The maintenance technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.
We are seeking new team members to work in Maintenance on 2nd Shift . We offer hourly wage + OT + full benefit package including employee discounts on a wide range of products.
PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Maintenance workers must be able to understand instructions whether they are written or verbal, and follow said instructions
• Complete work with accuracy and efficiency
• Adhere to all facets of safety policies and procedures
• Make repairs and modifications to machines, equipment, and facility to ensure reliable, consistent operation according to stated requirements, schedules, and priorities
• The nature of all production positions is repetitive motions for extended periods of time.
• Repair production equipment, plant equipment, and related systems.
• Use machine tools and hand tools working with a variety of materials, working within close tolerances.
• Analyzes malfunctioning machines and systems (electrical, PLC/Electronics, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical, etc.) recommend corrective action and makes repairs or modifications as necessary.
• Maintain a working understanding of plant production processes equipment, systems, and facilities in order to perform maintenance effectively.
• Works in cooperation with engineering, technical, production or outside contractors, as directed.
• Use pat practices, data tables, technical reference to determine machine specs, materials, sizes and other working data.
• Get required tools equipment and instruments; clean up and store as necessary.
• Perform any or all procedures of subsequent pay rate.
• Experienced/self-sufficient in one of the following:
• Auto / Diesel Mechanics
• Welding / Fabrication
• Construction (Residential or Industrial)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Prolonged standing
• May be required to frequently lift up to 40-50 lbs.
• Overtime is required, including some weekends
• May be required to work a flexible schedule
