Maintenance Mechanic Helper
Reports to – Maintenance Mechanic
Responsibilities:
Assist in administering company preventative maintenance program
Assisting in the performance of preventative maintenance on all scheduled equipment
Assist in trouble shooting equipment break downs
Assist in ordering parts for replacement
General building maintenance (Lighting, Plumbing, Signage)
Assist in machinery installation and moving
Light carpentry work
Other related duties as required
Qualifications:
Experience using and maintaining hand and electrical tools
Ability to read technical manuals and drawings an asset
Very good communication and interpersonal skills
Physical stamina and dexterity
Ability to perform with minimal supervision
Computer knowledge
A willingness to learn and develop new skills
Valid Class G Driver’s Licence
Must be able to obtain and maintain through DAVIS a Controlled Goods Security Clearance
