Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician Helper to support the upkeep and efficiency of our facility, equipment, and grounds. This role involves assisting with inspections, repairs, preventative maintenance, and janitorial tasks to ensure a safe, clean, and well-functioning work environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Keep machines and surrounding work areas clean and free of debris.
• Assist with facility and equipment maintenance tasks.
• Support preventative maintenance activities and maintain accurate repair records.
• Perform janitorial responsibilities indoors and outdoors as needed.
• Monitor inventory of tools, supplies, and spare parts.
• Participate in safety inspections, walkthroughs, and emergency drills.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve equipment or facility issues.
• Complete other duties and projects as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
Qualifications
• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• 2–5 years of maintenance or facility support experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of building systems, tools, and safety standards.
• Ability to follow directions and complete tasks with accuracy.
• Willingness to perform physically demanding and janitorial work.
• Forklift or pallet jack certification preferred.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and ladder climbing.
• Work indoors and outdoors with exposure to dust, noise, and varying conditions.
