Pulp & Paper Technician
Qualification- Graduation
No of position :- 01
Must have experience in Paper & Pulp Industries for 3-5 Years
Effective communication and computer skills
Excellent problem solving and people management skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
Process water and paper testing procedures
Exercise 100% environmental and safety compliance
Provide engineering expertise for process design, system optimization, quality control , commissioning & start-up, and trouble-shooting of paper machine systems.
Evaluate chemical vendor’s proposals and co-ordinate chemical trials for improving paper manufacturing
Perform routine process testing and communicate results to the operations and management team
Ability for troubleshooting the Paper Problem.
Work with operations and maintenance team to identify and implement process modifications that lead to improved safety, quality, costs, and efficiency
Responsibilities
Perform cleaning activities such as dusting, mopping etc.
Perform carpentry, electrical, mechanical and plumbing repairs.
Performs touch up and finish painting.
Picks up and delivers supplies and materials.
Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues
Install appliances and equipment
Do garden/yard upkeep by mowing lawn, collecting trash etc.
Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs
Maintain, service, clean and properly store equipment
Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm)
Inspect and repair all damages to building surfaces
Participate in different projects (e.g. renovations)
Report to a facilities or maintenance manager for issues
Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations
Perform other related duties and activities as required
Requirements
Current Driving License and Clean Driving Record
Desire to work OT and Weekends.
Ability to lift and carry objects weighing 50 pounds.
Proficiency on mobile devices apps. Work will be assigned and followed up through mobile devices.
Previous working experience as a Maintenance Worker for 2 year(s)
In depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems
Hand on experience with hand and electrical tools
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Manual dexterity and physical stamina
Ability to work occasionally in poor weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, or snow
