Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Painter/Laborer/ Carpenter to join our construction and restoration team. This role involves performing various painting projects, assisting with general labor tasks, and supporting the overall completion of residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Duties
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and taping.
Apply paint, stain, or other finishes to various surfaces using brushes, rollers, or power tools.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate project execution.
Operate hand tools, power tools, and rigging equipment safely and effectively.
Assist with carpentry tasks such as framing or minor repairs as needed.
Support restoration projects by preparing surfaces and applying appropriate finishes.
Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment on-site.
Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project specifications are met.
Manage time efficiently to complete projects within designated deadlines.
Requirements
Prior experience in construction painting, residential or commercial painting, industrial painting, or restoration is preferred.
Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction drawings.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, caulking techniques, and rigging equipment.
Basic carpentry skills are a plus.
Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
Ability to read schematics and follow detailed instructions accurately.
Good time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting, bending, and working at heights if necessary.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are desirable but not mandatory. Pay: $17.28-$33.86 per hour
