Job Description
We are looking for our future management accountant who will take a lead role in the preparation of monthly engineering management accounts and presentation to the wider business and to provide support to the Assistant Financial Controller. You will also assist with forecasting, budgeting and collating data as required alongside month end processes. She/he will work within the local and corporate systems to complete general ledger entries, analyses and reporting of accounts and other statistical / non-financial data within agreed deadlines. She/he will oversee ensuring compliance and assisting with self-audit of Sarbanes Oxley.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead role in preparation of monthly engineering management accounts
Presenting monthly management accounts to key stakeholders during monthly/quarterly reviews
Raising all AR’s related to engineering for the Tech Centre
Supporting in month end intercompany reconciliations
Preparation of daily AR cash reporting and update into HFM
Month end assistance including journal preparation
Balance Sheet Reconciliations
Support AFC in forecast preparation
Take part in SOX aspects (self audit, ICQ and narratives)
Key skills and Qualifications:
Excellent IT skills especially Excel
Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks
ERP systems knowledge and skill / experience
Internal control/ audit experience
CIMA / ACCA or equivalent
Automotive / Engineering experience
BPCS experience
SOX experience
Good working knowledge of IBM iSeries (AS400) and AS400Query
Experience with IBM Cognos (TM1)
